Pneumatic Precision Seeding

×

Sfoggia Calibra

The Sfoggia Calibra (Calibra EVO) is a pneumatic vacuum precision seeder engineered for accurate sowing of small seeds. It is a versatile machine designed to meet the rigorous demands of specialized agriculture, including both open-field and greenhouse applications.

Target Crops: Fine Vegetable Seeds (e.g., carrot, onion, leek, lettuce, celery), Sugar Beet, and similar small-diameter coated or bare seeds.

Versatile Seeding Unit: Each individual seeding unit can be quickly adapted to sow one, two, or three lines simultaneously within a single row or bed pass. This is achieved by simply exchanging the sowing disc and the planting shoe. The large-diameter seeding disc increases the distance between the vacuum holes, which improves planting precision and minimizes the risk of double seeding.

Dual Air System: Utilizes a sophisticated, filtered air system to ensure consistent performance. The Vacuum holds seeds precisely on the disc, while the Pressure Unit provides constant pressure to keep the disc holes clear of debris, ensuring a dry, clean operating environment.

Standard Models2 to 24 rows
Frame OptionsFixed, Telescopic, or Hydraulic Folding
Seeding Adaptability1, 2, or 3 lines per unit

The Sfoggia Legacy: Precision Since 1956

Sfoggia is not just a manufacturer; it is a specialized partner to growers, built on decades of Italian engineering and agricultural passion.

  • Founded in 1956: specializing in the design and production of seeders and transplanters.

  • Italian: Based in Montebelluna, Italy,

  • Core Focus: While they offer precision planters (like the Sigma 5 for maize/soya) and strip-till cultivators, their identity is deeply rooted in transplanting machinery and the related machinery like mulch layers and inter-row cultivators

  • Why Choose Sfoggia?

  • When you invest in Sfoggia, you are investing in proven reliability and forward-thinking technology.
    • Built with robust, high-quality materials. The F-series transplanters, for example, feature stainless steel components for durability.
    • Equipment is designed to handle an enormous range of planting types—from bare-root to cell grown plugs
    • Fast, easy adjustments between crops.
    • Offering Elektra Drive with full IsoBus integration for total electronic management and data control.
